Level Overview Snowboard
The following videos from the Swiss Snow League and the Swiss Snow Academy will help you to assess your children's snowboarding level.
Green League (never snowboarded before)
For children who have never been on a snowboard before.
Green League 3-4 years: Kids Village
- One-foot riding on the flat
- Fullbase riding in easy terrain
- Slide riding in the fall line
- Fullbase to slide riding in easy terrain
Blue League (from age 5)
For children aged five and over.
Blue Prince / Princess
Your child can ride fullbase on easy terrain and slide in the fall line.
- Sliding in the traverse
- Sliding to fullbase riding
- Practice lift riding
- Sliding turns
Blue King / Queen
Your child masters a traverse and can ride through slid to fullbase turns.

- Wheelie
- Two-legged jump on the slope
Blue Star
Your child masters switch turns and can perform the waltz and the wheelie.

- Fifty/fifty over a simple box
- Jumps over small jumps
Red League (advanced)
In the RED LEAGUE, advanced children consolidate their snowboarding skills.
Red Prince / Princess
Your child can do switch swings and jumps over small jumps.
- Stretch and bend turns

- Ollie/N`Ollie on the piste
- 180° on the piste
Red King / Queen
Your child can do the Ollie / N'Ollie on the piste.
- Carved turns
- Slide on the piste
- Ollie/N`Ollie 180° on the piste
- Basic Air
Red Star
Your child masters carved turns and can do straight jumps over the hill.
- Skiing in unprepared terrain
- Frontside noseturn
- Backside boardslide over a box
- Straight air
Black League (experts)
In the BLACK LEAGUE, children are called upon to become experts on the snowboard.
Black Academy
Your child can do the frontside noseturn and the backside boardslide over a box. The Academy covers three main topics in the snowboard categories:

- freeride
